Song of the Day, December 3: Ain’t Nobody by Rufus

Today’s song is Ain’t Nobody by Rufus featuring Chaka Khan. Rightfully recognized as one of the finest dance songs of all time, this song was one of the rare big R&B hits of the 80s that really appealed to me. Chaka Khan is at the top of her form and the song is perfectly constructed, conveying passion and desire over a great groove. It peaked at #22 on the Hot 100 on this date in 1983. Enjoy it again today.
